I undertook a thorough review of the management accounts, cleansed the balance sheet, populated the dataroom, and developed a robust forecast model to provide the buyer with maximum confidence. I also managed the financial due diligence process with the buyer’s accountants, ensuring it was done thoroughly so as not to allow any opportunities for renegotiation.
This resulted in the successful sale of the business 6 months post appointment.
